Frilled Sharks
Humans rarely encounter these creature, they prefer to remain in the oceans' depths, up to 5,000 feet (1,500 meters) below the surface. These frilled sharks are known to have their ancestors from the time of dinosaurs, assumed by their fossils. This 5.3-foot (1.6-meter) specimen was first found in shallow water in Japan and then was transferred to the marine park. It died after being captured may be due to change in environment.
