Duck, Duck, Goose is a children's game played by preschoolers and kindergarteners here in the US and probably other places as well. It also represents some of the wildlife I saw while walking along the Reedy River in Greenville, South Carolina about a week ago.
There were plenty of Mallard ducks to be seen as well but these two ducks were somewhat different. As you can see the first one has distinctive red markings on his head and the other duck has an interesting tuft of feathers on top of his head.
The goose is a Canadian goose which was probably thinking what the hell is going on since he flow south for the winter but it was still well below freezing even in South Carolina.
