About a year ago now, one of our hens turned up with a bunch of minuscule chicks. Absolutely adorable despite them not suppose to have been existing. Few days later, we had a Quoll attack; lost mother hen, some of her chicks, another hen, a duck and another two ducks near misses. Now a year later, and some hand raising, one rooster here stands quite proudly of his survival.
