This is one of the beautiful birds that resides at our sanctuary. His name is Sylvie and it is easy to see why he would be proud. He was the first baby peafowl to be hatched here. I hand raised him with his sister Genevieve in our home. While he lives outside now, he still lets me pick him up and hug him. I never knew peacocks could make such wonderful pets, but he is definitely one of my favorites...shhhh don't tell the others...
