The Austin Zoo is quite small compared to others I've been to. They don't have many animals but it has been growing over the years. The best part about it is that it's basically an exotic animal shelter. Most of the animals living there were lab animals or pets that were discarded.
Despite their past lives, I'm glad they will be taken care of from now on.
