This was a female cardinal, coming by and waiting on the fence for me to fill up the bird feeders with seeds. I don't mind feeding them as I love to watch birds! Yes, they do leave a mess of their droppings all over the fence and the ground, but I guess that is all natural. The only thing that annoying me after I filled up the feeders was the sparrows. They came in great number and can finish all three feeders in matter of hours before other birds have a chance to eat.
