When I visited Singapore, I decided to pay a visit to the famous Zoo. It is indeed spectacular as there is lots of space for the animals and many of them can actually roam large areas of the park freely. Singapore Zoo hosts the largest population of captive orangutans in the world and it is actually possible to see them face-to-face without any glass or any other barrier in between, this is what enabled me to capture this portrait shot.

The camera I used to capture this photo is a Sony A37 (APS-C) with a Sony DT 18-135mm F3,5–5,6 SAM lens.
