We went for a quick hike to the Babag Mountain range within the vicinity of Cebu City. We started from Guadalupe and exited near the RCPI Towers. Along the trail, we encountered a snake near the foot path. The length of its body is perched along a horizontal tree trunk. Its head, pointing towards the path. It was a relatively small snake, but we don't want to take chances. We stopped and figure out how to go about passing.
SOP should be to avoid the snake and go around it. We do not have much space to go around though. In the end, we tried to go to the edge of the trail and make the snake know our presence. It sensed us and crawls away to the opposite direction.
Spot the creepy crawly.
A local dog is coming along with us, probably to ask for food. She just went pass along the snake like it was not there.
