From here on out, I'm really making an effort to post more content about what I love & brings me joy - not what I'm "good" at necessarily. As a chef, I obviously love to cook, but doing that for awhile as your "job" can take the joy out of it (almost). I'm still going to post food recipes as I feel inspired, but sometimes you just have to let your passions take a rest every now and then, so you can breathe new life into them.
I just wrapped up with my last client & it feels so strange (and freeing) to not have to go in to the kitchen and cook tomorrow. I'm not saying I won't ever take on personal chef clients again, but I'm staying open to all the possibilities that are coming my way while we're on the road.
(If you have no clue what I'm talking about, my boyfriend and I are hitting the road in our 73' Dodge Travco - you can check it out here

By simply bringing our attention to what brings us joy, we inevitably create more experiences that bring us joy. (Like attracts like, law of attraction, etc) I guess that's my whole intention behind creating "joy-centered" content - I'm creating joy by the simple act of acknowledging it. You can even call this gratitude. What's beautiful about this practice is that once you start, you'll notice that joy is all around you, all the time - often it's the simplest of things. You just have to choose to see it.

To kick off my intention to create more joy-centered content, I'm sharing a couple of shots I took today of one of my three pups, Sookie. Not that I have a favorite, she just supplies me the most with endless, hilarious photo opportunities. She's spunky & rebellious during the day, and a master cuddler at night.
(I'm well aware of my crazy dog lady status 😜)
I picked this dandelion in our yard and she came & snatched it from me 😂
