Yes, they are actually called the "little brown skink," so the size of this one should be no surprise.
While I was hard at work today with the building our next poultry coop Red-Pepper happened to notice this very tiny baby little brown skink. The photography was tough not only because of the size, but also because of the speed. When these little guys want to disappear, they are basically gone! Thankfully, we had four trained animal capture "experts" standing by! Enjoy the photos!
A VERY LITTLE LITTLE BROWN SKINK
It is worth mentioning that the dirty pair of hands in some of these photos, like the one above, are actually the hands of one of the , and not my hands. That should help with understanding the size of this tiny creature. The "big finger shots" (like in the cover photo) are of one of my fingers.
