Hi guys!!! if u are an animals lover or cat lover maybe and you are reading this post maybe you would like voting or just sharing to help us to save 70 abandoned cats on Margaita Island in Venezuela . U can contribute with a litle sand grain to this initiative that many times only animals lovers can understand.
what is it about?
I will tell u the history...
José Manuel Gregorio de Andrade and Yerccenia Azoaje are a couple of independent volunteers who for 20 years have dedicated part of their lives to the shelter of cats in street situations.
These two people are a kind of guardian angel for the pussycat, who have been the victim of the acts of those who once owned them. This life mission for Andrade and Azoaje, began in 1995 when his daughter fed a needy cat and took him home.
Since then, they share their home with approximately now 70 cats, which came in different circumstances and with different stories but with the same outcome. Every morning, Andrade, taking advantage of their residence location near the sea, goes out to make purchases to feed his pets. Eight kilos of sardine and three of rice are the ingredients for the daily meal of the almost 70 cats. To sustain this life train, this family is dedicated to the sale of cleaning products, and at the same time they have the great heart of those who are worried about helping.
"You have to do the last thing for the animals life", is their philosophy during their journey, when they also visit a couple of neighborhoods to feed a group of small cats without home.
This valuable initiative is not only about the feeding of cats, but also about medical treatment in case of illness, and especially about a permanent sterilization campaign.
And everything went "relatively well", until today:
The owner of the house where they live rented died, and their heirs asked them to leave the house. They have lived there for many years, but despite that they have just 2 months to go.
Looking for options in the midst of anguish in a Venezuela with many challenges to get even the most basic, its not easy at all to find a place, but they have found a house that is for sale, for about 700 euros (or 800 dollars). The house has a space enought not only for them, but also for all the little animals to be safe.
In Venezuela due to the terrible economic crisis that the country is going through, with the world highest inflation rate around 2000% more and more people abandon their pets just because they do not have enough to feed them, or because they are simply forced to emigrate and do not have how to take them, so the cats and dogs Rescuers do not have enough supplies to help them.
thanks a lot
