Hello my dear Steemians! At last am back! Our internet connectivity was very slow , I don't know why but I take the bad weather to be the culprit. Am really sorry if I haven't replied to those who upvoted my previous blog.
Well, during my absence here, I did my own DIY bird cage for Antonia's quail birds. There's a raffle sale beside their school wherein tickets are provided @ 1 peso each and you get one quail bird if you're lucky to get the two digits. And so she did and granny me came to the rescue.
Since there's no bird cage available in our area, I roamed around the house to look for something to invent and create where we can accommodate our 'new member' of the family.
At last, I found our big basket filled with outgrown shoes of Antonia. I cut the other side with heated knife, I bought half meter wire screen, tie wire and wire string to tie the screen.
Antonia was so excited that she even helped when she arrived from school. Silently, I was happy to see her use her right hand after that straining accident. Actually, she was afraid to bend it thinking that the steel inside might hurt. She did it on impulse and it was a good therapy for her. Indeed, pets are good antidotes for patients who are undergoing rehabilitation. With Antonia's case, time will heal her broken arm.
The following day, she bought another one. This time, it was a cute pink chick. I then warned her that it will be the last one for the moment until we make a bigger cage.
