Animalphotography Cockatoo Island should be called Seagull Island

Our family visited Cockatoo Island Sydney recently. The one thing that stood out amongst the crumbling glory of the former naval shipyard.

No Cockatoos...

But hundreds of nesting Silver Gulls.
