I went backpacking for a month through Indonesia. Here are my top 5 animal photos, all taken from my trip from Lombok to Komodo National Park and then scuba diving in Labuan Bajo.

Who would I be if I didn't include a picture of a Komodo dragon. This one is a cheat since the friend I was with took this photo. We interrupted two males Komodos trying to reproduce with a female, which only happens about once a year. Too many tourists surrounded the Komodo dragons and so the males could not have sex, and instead tried to attack the 30 or so tourists watching. This picture was taken as the park rangers tried to hold them back with their sticks. Luckily nobody was harmed in the end.
