Spot the Dog Statue

Many of my colleagues at work know that I am into photography and will often tell me if they see something new that I may like to go see,

As is the case for this new statue outside of the new Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital on 34th Street near 1st Avenue, once he told me about it I had to go check it out.

Now this may be a stretch but I am submitting this for Hive account@juliank’s daily photo contest for info check out the FAQ page

This is for the Sonday Animal Photography Spot is a dog which is an anial but not sure if a statue really counts lOL

I think it's such a cool thing to have outside of a children's hospital and it is huge, to give you an idea the Taxi is an actual Prius, donated by Toyota, that has been stripped of its motor, and when it rains, its windshield wipers will activate, how cool is that

Some say everything is bigger in Texas but maybe in some things NYC may challenge them, look at the people at the base of the Statue gives an idea of the size of it

Another shot with people to give a sense of scale, the Statue is made of Steel beams and fibreglass and stands 389 feet tall.
