I hope you all had a great holiday! I'm jumping back into the black and white photo challenge today with a photo a took in 2014 in Ubud, Bali. Mama and baby monkey in the Monkey Forest. I probably spent at least an hour every day while I was in Ubud in the Monkey Forest. Ubud was the last stop on my trip that year (prior to that I was in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Followed by a couple days in Brunei). This trip was a bit bittersweet, I was going through a rather rough patch personally, but Ubud was the perfect place to relax and find my bearings again. I made some wonderful friends while there, and since monkeys are my favorite animals, I found it rather impossible to be sad while wandering a beautiful forest filled with them (even though the devious little monsters tried to steal my earrings on more than one occasion...)
Where is your favorite place to go to relax and refresh yourself when times get tough? These days a bit of archery on Penteli mountain in Athens is always good for me when I need to center myself (after all, a trip to Bali anytime I'm having a bad week would get quite expensive ;p).
