Weddell seals like to sleep and that they do sleep a lot - especially after they complete a long, deep dive, which can be over 600m and a breath hold of 80minutes. Impressive, right?!. This little fellow was taking a nap whilst a Gentoo decided to join him on a small ice floe.
As you can see from the photo it is in fact snowing in December in the Southern Hemisphere - However, it is Antarctica after all.
