The inquisitive and curious nature of orca always intrigue me and keeps you on your toes when you are on the water interacting with them. Their various behavioural displays can suddenly change from simply cruising from point a to point b behaviour to an active hunt for their lunch. Their somewhat unpredictable movement in the water at certain times can make interacting with them difficult and also maintaining a responsible distance, which we are required to do by law in the waters around British Columbia and Washington State.
Every once in a while you Geta beautiful little moment with the apex predator of the ocean, which can give you shivers through your entire body.
