In India and specially in our area they are in trouble. It has become very common heading in the newspaper that "leopard attacks human in the residential colony" Whenever such incidents happen administration capture him in the cage and send to the zoo. This homeless creature always becomes a victim and in most cases lose their lives also.
Why have they become homeless? Why have they attacked? Nobody care to introspect. A wild animal never likes to come among the human population, they always like their natural habitat, but we are encroaching their natural habitat for our greed, so-called development. We never think that is such type of development sustainable? Is it justified to build our homes by depriving some other creature of their right to live on this planet?
Here I would like to draw your attention to one recent news
"Leopard wreaks havoc at Indore housing complex"
Whenever such incidents happen we create a wrong impression about these innocent wild animals that they are dangerous for the human being, while the truth is completely opposite that we human beings have become dangerous to these fellow earthlings.
Here I am sharing one video found on youtube how such incident creates panic among people and animal both
Such conflicts are becoming very common across India. Other than such conflicts so many innocent wild animals lose their lives in road accidents when they try crossing a highway passing through the jungle.
We human being considered the most intelligent living being on earth but where our intelligence goes when the matter of co-existence with our fellow earthlings come? We forget that we are not only on this planet earth, there are thousands of other species exist with us and if we will not care about their existence the day is not far when our existence will be in danger.
There is a famous quote "Live and let Live" but unfortunately we are not following it in our life. I think we have done enough damage to our mother earth but still, there is a time to change ourselves and get rid of the greed of unsustainable development.
