If not the world, at least Diablo's getting better and ready to wreak havoc. Since I've rescued this little monstrosity, his personality started to come out filling up my life with diabolic kitten energy. He's been running and following me around my tiny apartment. Anyway, I've been religiously giving him antibiotics for his respiratory illness and he's pretty much healed now. I think I've been doing a pretty good job here as a cat mum.
I've never found a companion as companionable as Diablo during rainy days. I am talking about the cat of course and not the Diablo in other forms. The sky is gray and my mood goes along with the changing weather. My inner Diablo comes out sometimes but good thing the kitty has become my emotional support. Being alone on this island has become a bit enjoyable when Diablo came into the picture. He eased the pain of my isolation. Having a pet not only takes away the stress but also gives you a bit of a purpose.
I mean what can I say? It is hard to stay focus on my grand goals these days. I used to be a big believer in achieving grander goals but in these challenging times, getting little things done is all I can do. Taking the trash out seems like a great accomplishment. I guess I just need to be more compassionate with myself and take things one at a time. Soon perhaps, things will become better and I'd be ready to kick ass out there again. Ready to achieve the grand goals that have been paused due to duh, pandemic. Anyway, I hope my insane optimism doesn't tire you out guys.
Let me focus on this crazy creature I have here for now. My goal is to give him the best life possible and swarm him with lots of love and attention. He's keeping me company while I wait for the world to blow up - just kidding. I am just thankful that I found him - or that we found each other. And he is going to be the topic of my posts once in a while. I'll probably have a cat friday or something, so those who didn't subscribe to cat posts can avoid me this day. But come on guys, who can resist?
The kitty.
Now who is more diabolic?
I am going to take him to the vet for his shots and then for deworming and neutering. He's a lot of work but it's all worth it. He definitely deserves all the care in this world. This one's lucky because not a lot of people here in my region go out of their way to take care of their own cats. I am glad that I am a bit "cat educated" errr if there is such a thing Jackson Galaxy.
So, what's up with y'all? Do you have a pet that you love so so dearly?
