Seychelles island which is also called the Republic of Seychelles is a country in the Indian Ocean. the country which lies 1,500 kilometers from the mainland of East Africa has its capital name Victoria and has a lot of rare animals on it

They live on the Seychelles Islands in the Indian Ocean which is home to the Aldabra Giant Tortoise, a behemoth of a reptile that can weight more than 600 lbs. Almost eaten to extinction by European Sailors in the 18th century, by 1840 they only survived on the remote atoll of Aldabra. In modern times, thanks to the dedicated efforts of conservationists, these tortoises have been re-introduced to other islands in the Seychelles. This tortoise roams on D'arros, an island in the Amirantes chain the place where save our seas foundation manage their scientific operations
