Like when you walk very calmly through life and find an iguana that almost causes a heart attack. Thank God it was not like that and I did not hesitate to take my smartphone and capture this great lizard.
For those who do not know this animal, the iguana is a genus of scaly sauropsids (reptiles) of the Iguanidae family native to tropical areas of Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
They live normally in trees, about 1.2 m above the ground. And despite their size, they can move quickly between plants and are excellent climbers.
Iguanas are herbivorous and oviparous animals. They place their eggs underground during the month of February. They reach sexual maturity at 16 months of age, but are considered adults at 36 months, when they are 70 cm long.
