The wild reptile Chamaeleon very commonly found in my surrounding. In Hindi we call them Girgit.

I remember, during childhood, we easily get scared with its presence.

The sleeping one was very relax until, i aproached to get a closer short. Relaxing on a plant leafes was unknown about my presence. And when I get abit close. It get quick alert and ready to make a move out of his comfort zone.

Even having heavier than a plant leaf it can easily lay his body on it. The best part tue plant does not even bend or move a bit. Another mpre important quality of these reptile is they can change their color according to their surrounding.

They got a unique concentration and having different senses to keep themselves active at the time of hunting. They can easily trap their prey with their long tongue.

Also, with their light weight body , they can easily up and down and crawl on any plant surface be it leaf or be it stem.

Being a remote and wild jungle in my surrounding, these Chameleon are easily been seen at any time. I got the one capture while taking some sun bath on a warm November winter morning.
