My pup barked at the wall for over an hour and when I finally got frustrated enough to go over there and see what he was doing, smoke and sparks came from the outlet near the curtains. I replaced that one to find a faulty installed outlet burned and colored. A week later he did it again but behind the couch. Same deal. I've since replaced all the outlets in the room properly installing them without the quick push method. Working on the rest of the house. Bottom line, listen to your animals :)
