Honey Bee, A Social Animal.
Honey bee is another species that belongs to class Insecta of Sub-phylum Arthropoda. They are also known as social animals. as you know well they provide us honey and wax and also helps flowers in pollination, so commercially they have a great value to human beings, culturing of honey bees at commercial level is called Horticulture. The society of honey bees consists of three specific members, That is, female, Drones (males) and Queen. Sexually they show the character of parthenogenesis where individuals develops without fertilization. Harmful character of honey bees is that they have stings having formic acid. normally they don t sting but when they are disturbed they got furious and attack in groups. Their body is metamerically segmented and divided into head, thorax and abdomen, They often visit flowers to collect nectar from their sectaries. In a nutshell they are too much beneficial to humans economically and by health.
