Do you like mecha? Do you like trains? Then I have the perfect series for you. Based on Takara Tomy's line of transforming train toys, this new shiny animated production, Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion aka Bullet Train Transforming Robot Shinkalion is set on making trains cool for the younger generations.
Sure, it's a kid's anime, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. You have to give props to Takara Tomy for going with such a cool concept. I only wished I had those toys when I grew up.

Even though it's CG, the animation is still surprisingly cool and the transformation sequence is always a fun watch.
