There's few things as sad as children in war zones.
This 30 year old movie about the horrors of World War II, seen through the eyes of two Japanese kids - a 4 year young girl and her 14 year old brother - must be one of the most emotionally moving (animated) movies ever made.
Besides that, it is beautifully made, as far as that's possible with such a gruesome theme.
Even watching the trailer, makes me emotional, partially due to the fact that I've seen the movie a handful of times.
If you've never heard of this film and it's your first time watching this trailer, I'm sure that it will touch you. Seriously, if this doesn't move you at all, you should really work on feeling your feelings [says a guy who can't cry but who definitely feels].
I'm cutting it short here. This movie needs to be experienced.
