Nowhere in the original gospels does it say "The Antichrist" but Hollywood and modern preachers added the word 'The' in front of 'antichrist' which is a deception in itself.

"Antichrist" is a spirit of denial and rejection of Christ and His Father.

1Jn_2:18 Little children, it is the last hour: and as you have heard that antichrist cometh, even now there are become many antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last hour.
1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Yeshua is the Christ? This is antichrist, who denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn_4:3 And every spirit that dissolveth Yeshua is not of God. And this is antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh: and he is now already in the world.
2Jn_1:7 For many seducers are gone out into the world who confess not that Yeshua Christ is come in the flesh. This is a seducer and an antichrist.

From the original Aramaic Peshitta, ‘antichrist’ only occurs in the final scripture -

2Jn_1:7. For many deceivers have gone out into the world,
those who do not confess that Yeshua The Messiah has come in the flesh; such a person is a deceiver and antichrist.

As you can see, all who reject The Christ are called Antichrist. Satan has deceived the world into believing that there will be one singular Antichrist who comes before Christ, this is done so that when Christ returns, many will claim that He must be the Antichrist!
