From Caroline Glick, journalist.
"You want to understand why anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism?
Look what happened yesterday in Chicago.
Yesterday Jewish lesbians were kicked out of a LGBT march in Chicago because their rainbow flag had a Star of David on it.
The organizers and participants told the Jewish women that the march was anti-Zionist and therefore, the Star of David was prohibited.
So now for anyone who has been burying his head in the sand in relation to the galloping Jew hatred on the Left, here are the LGBT marchers pulling your eyes out of the ground and forcing you to see what is happening.
Anti-Zionism means Jews are banned unless they renounce their Jewish identity.
This is the PLO charter in action.
The PLO charter insists that Jews are not a people, that we have no group identity and no history. Anyone who insists we have a right to self-determination, anyone who insists that historical facts -- like the Temple in Jerusalem -- are historical facts, is evil and regressive.
The Left has grafted this anti-Semitic text onto its DNA.
Consequently, in order to be (or remain) a leftist in good standing today, you must reject facts, deny Jewish history and deny Jews the right to self-determination.
Practically speaking this translates into what happened to the Jewish lesbians in Chicago yesterday.
Today the Left bans from its ranks Jews who won't renounce their Jewish identity.
If there is a clearer distillation of why anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism, I haven't seen it."
