... was in the back garden doing some garden work tearing down an old rotten shed and then trying my best to level the ground out however I decided to take a break around mid day and went inside to grab a drink is I filled up a glass of water and went to turn around I saw a magpie on the floor I was shocked at first and thought it would fly away as I’ve noticed and probably scared it as I stepped in its direction but instead it flew up onto the counter near me I was still a little nervous but I gave it some bits of bread it ate them and followed me as I went outside I did more work for about 5 minutes as the whole time the magpie was constantly jumping onto my shoulder I decided to take another break and again it followed me into the house and as I sat down it came next to me I filled a tub up of some water and stuff for it it began to drink but unsure if it drunk any as it was still mostly focused on me I began touching it just very lightly and it responded with like bird sounds (Yh I have no idea what it was trying to say). I decided I should get this work done before family get home however as a memory I decided to just get a photo of it however upon thinking on how I should get it out of the house I started recording as I recorded I put my hand level with its feet and it climbed onto my hand almost instantly as I stood up straighter it began to go up my arm and onto my shoulder it stayed on my shoulder the whole time even when I went outside even when I was continuing to make loud noises with bashing bits of wood it still was close by until eventually flying away into the distance I saw it a couple of times after occasionally just wondering about in the garden but I haven’t seen it since for months
