On the island of Mauritius there are plenty of remnants of the old sugar mills abandoned and left to ruïnes.
I've posted one or two of these before but I put a few photos together to show some more.
I love taking photos of them whenever I happen upon them. It fascinates me, these old towers with trees growing out the top ends.
How is our society to leave buildings behind wherever they go and just build a new one for the sake of it instead of fixing up the old ones. There's so much history behind this and it's all just going to pieces.
