... Figuring out my name she said E.D. (as in Ed, my name is Edouard but Ed is more simple) and forgot to introduce herself so I said: nice to meet you Eddie. I genuinely meant it as a joke and so, my partner, not understanding I was jesting thought that was the case. Imagine my surprise when I realized her name was Edith. Funnily enough, she doesn't want to be called Eddie.
