Within 24 hours, I drove a sealed coronavirus test-sample to the research dep. at the hospital, participated in everything related to the 22.5 SF on every platform and chat where it was being worked on and discussed. Got offered a new job related to what I was doing before deciding to go full-time on Steem a year and a half ago. Accepted it and thus also decided to move to a new city.
All to come back and see the whole Steem community rally against the hostile take-over and fight for the decentralized Steem that they believed in.
I guess the first lesson is that life can change very quickly. And no matter what you think of the situation you're in, things can change quickly.
