... of their story/opinions in between the plot. That really makes character more close to viewer, more interesting. It's like audience gets more familiar with character's behaviour and they can feel them. sometimes it feels for me like therapy sessions listening to them talking about themselves than just watching their journey.
Why some times even the plot wise if series becomes weak, still keep up with its viewership?
I believe that because people owns the characters when they liked them much & they watch the series how many seasons it may come untill they lost interest in their favourite characters.
with very less, like only 3-4 characters appearing per episode... I found absolutely curious. James, the boy who looking for a balance between love and purpose, Alyssa who does what comes to her mind. The way their journey started and gruesome incidents, their cold behaviour although received criticism, still hooked the audience. Vulnerability, longing for freedom, love and satire are the elements these both teenagers carry throughout the series.
