WHAT LOVE REALLY COSTS 12 : GENTLENESS
How could you love someone and not be gentle towards them? Sometimes the way you find some people who are supposed to be in love with each other behave, it's as if their partner/spouse is their sworn enemy. The harshness with which they cut them when they speak, the tone of audacity with which they dish our orders, the coldness with which they answer them, the dead way they make physical contact in public and the unkind manner with which they say simple things, all go to show that a love education is seriously needed. What is missing is gentleness.
Introducing my Food Blog @lilwoodenspoon
First of all, I'm not a professional. In fact, I didn't take up Culinary Art as my Degree Program. But I enjoy food! I love to eat good food, and to be honest, I think I deserve good food! This passion of cooking started when I first left home to University for my Foundation studies. I studied in Curtin University, Miri for a year. I won't lie and there's nothing to hide. Miri is not a city. There is nothing there (No offense). All I do in my Foundation year were class, bus, home, eat, TV series and online games. Lifeless huh?
Dear Creatives: Live & Die By Your Own Sword
If you’re anything like me, you have a little voice in your head that assassinates your best ideas. That little voice is hunkered down in The Grassy Knoll, ready to shoot down that idea before it can travel through one synapse of your brain. So many of our instincts, intuitions, and inventions expire before we’ve even had a chance to express them. You ridicule your ideas and inclinations into submission, dismissing them as passing fancies, rather than acknowledging that they are something you thought of. Something you think is important. Something that calls to you. We have dreams, big and small, that come to us. How often do we listen to, let alone act upon these ideas? And how often do we assassinate an idea and call it a suicide-by-nonsensical-thinking? The idea killed itself, because it was too big/unwieldly/impossible/far-fetched/impractical/stupid/foolish/time consuming/ridiculous. But in reality, you killed it.
