Afternoon Hiveworld and I hope life is good and you are staying healthy.
I thought I'd start posting every week with my progress through my current photography project. I'm doing a 366 project and I am taking a photo every day for all 366 days of the year (leap year) I try to put a little effort in and try to avoid taking pictures of what I had for tea and get a little creative. This is always made easier due to my obsession with lightpainting which always gets my creative juices flowing.
I hope you enjoy and catch you next week with an update :)

I was sat in the back garden at dusk. Listening to the birds settle in for the night and watching the bats commence their shift and noticed the brush leaning against the fence.
Not sure why I found it so appealing but thought I should get the flash guns out and have a quick play.
Beauty dish camera left with 1 x Yongnuo 560iv on full power. 1 x Yongnuo 560iv bare, camera right 1/4 power @105mm with a teal gel.
It's had 4 different heads and 2 new handles.

2 hours and 20 minutes of star trails. Heavily cropped due to next doors security lights and surrounding street lights ruining the vibe.
Good practice though.
Whilst enjoying a wee walk around our back garden I always like to look through the pebbles on the ground. There is lots of flint out there but every now and again I find these pitted ones which look like pumice. I'm no geologist but I knew this one would look cool.
I took many variations using my macro setup but eventually ended up with 1 strand of the black fiber optics lighting the entire frame in orange and blue.
It's a little painstaking but I quite enjoy the view at a macro level.
Custon wb craziness for the cool colour palette.

This one was a test for some star stacking but I had left the cwb turned on from last night.
After this I changed it and took a load of shots but this one appealed to me the most in the end.

8 Bit Mammatus.
DLW, Ceiling diffusion sheet and cardboard based faff this evening.
I got a fair few interesting results from this set up so I think I'll cut a strip of the sheet to sit over my dlw.

Softly Softly.
My lack of gardening prowess is rewarded once more with some beautiful specimen dandelions.
If they actually looked like this I'm sure their popularity would soar.
Lit from above in blue and then 20 past and 20 to in red.
That's it for this week, I hope you enjoyed my photographic exploits :)
