Me and my buddies decided to hit up Dahilayan Nature Park last week and honestly? The whole place is just so amazing way better than we thought it will be!
When we drove up there the first thing that hit us was how fresh everything smells. Like all grass and trees and clean mountain air
nothing like the stuffy city air we are used to. We pulled up to this huge open grassy area with a bunch of buildings that have bright red roofs sitting right at the edge of the field.
The grass was super thick and green and it kept swaying around every time the wind blew through. There were these super tall pine trees standing all over the place too they are literally as high as buildings! We could not help but take tons of pics even did some dumb poses standing between the tree trunks. Was proper funny trying to get everyone in the shot without looking like idiots!
Once we started walking around the views just kept getting better. From up on the hill you can see hills and more hills stretching out as far as your eyes can go. There’s trees everywhere so much green it’s almost too much to take in! Every now and then you spot little houses or huts tucked away in the trees which makes you think about how nice it will be to just stay there forever.
Early in the morning when we got there there was fog rolling all over the mountains it looked like they were wrapped up in a big soft blanket. We just stood there for ages watching it slowly lift up and show all the forests underneath. Kinda felt like we were in a dream or something not real at all!
By midday the sun was out full force and the sky turned this bright blue colour with fluffy white clouds floating around like cotton balls. The mountains looked even bigger then and you could see their peaks really clearly sometimes there were little wispy clouds sitting right on top of them, like hats! We walked all over the place checking out different spots every corner we turned had a new view to gawk at.
One minute we are looking at wide open grass fields the next we are in thick woods where you can barely see the sky then we are back to looking out at miles and miles of mountains. We just kept stopping every few steps to look around none of us could believe how pretty it all was. It was so nice to just chill out and not worry about work or traffic or anything else for a bit. Definitely worth the drive up there!
