Bayon, the Great Temple of the Khmer Kingdom

This Khmer temple-style temple is located in Angkor Thom, Angkor Province, Cambodia. Built at the end of the 12th and early 13th centuries. This Bayon temple is the sacred shrine of the Khmer empire. One of the hallmark of this temple is the carving of human face on every tower.
