Portugal is a country with a wonderful and rich history, and it has so many amazing monuments, castles and palaces in its territory. The photos below are from the Mosteiro de Alcobaça (Alcobaça Monastery), a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Alcobaça. It was founded by the first Portuguese King, Afonso Henriques, in 1153.
