On the outskirts of El Calafate lies the Glaciarium Museo del Hielo Patagónico. A really nice museum with a lot of interactive exhibits as well as an IceBar and a small tourist shop. There is a free, convenient and reliable shuttle service, departing every hour from El Calafate's Tourism Bureau. Well worth a visit.
