Meiji Jingu located in Tokyo, Japan, is truly a wonder to walk through on any given day. The large gates, temples and places of worship are distributed all over this greenspace and makes for a good afternoon of exploration. Certain areas are filled with tourists trying to get a glimpse of a traditional Japanese wedding as many couples are wed here on any given weekend.
I've been fortuante to have been here twice now. This image was from my first visit during the humid month of June in 2010... it's a favourite of mine as it feels balanced in terms of composition. It's also a nice juxtaposition between raw and processed or wild and structured.
