Guthia Mosque, also known as Baitul Aman Jame Masjid Complex, is the most beautiful and one of the largest Mosque of Bangladesh.
Luckily I got a chance to visit the mosque this year.
It was so so beautiful and breathtaking. The colors and the lightings made the appearance of the Mosque magical and heavenly. I went there at night time and I could see its lights from miles away.
-This is how its looks from far away, glowing twinkles of lights.
It is situated in a place called Ujirpur, which is 20kms away from Barishal. The construction of the Mosque began on 16 December 2003 and it was finished on 2006. It took 200 million BDT to build the mosque.
The land area of the mosque complex is 14 acres. In which there are three great lakes, a mosque, a graveyard, a huge Eidgah, an orphanage, a Madrasa and 58 meters high Minaret constructed of white marble which is the tallest in the country.
It consists of 20 domes and the whole mosque is made of Marble Stone. There are 30 workers to take care of the mosque.
Inside of the mosque is even more beautiful than the outside. The whole place is decorated with marble mosaic designs and there is a big beautiful chandelier in the middle. Sadly, I wasn’t allowed to take pictures from inside of it.
-Me infront of the Minaret.
-The rooftop.
-Front side of the mosque.
-Back side of the mosque.
Hopefully I’ll get to visit the mosque again soon.
Next time I wish to travel there at day time.
