I'll be sharing pictures of a structure, not just because of it's architectural design, but because of the science-physics and art behind it (at least from my own understanding)
ST-BUILDING CYPRUS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, NICOSIA, TRNC
The structure looks like a bat-mobile...loool
- The roof is made at an angle that faces the sun; from it's rising to when it's about to set.
- the glass are actually solar panels, so apparently the angle is so that it accommodates the average daily sunshine hours.
- also the glass are double-glazed (from my observation)...to reduce heat loss during cold seasons I.e. Keep the inside warm.
Now the back is built in a way it looks like vents, or wind breakers...
- I guess this is to allow for the movement of air towards the building
- I should find out
There you go...
