Massachusetts is beginning it's second Nor'Easter in less than a week! Holding back the damage from the powerful ravages of the ocean is crucial for most of the cities and towns here on the coast line. While Massachusetts is a very small state, we do have quite a bit of coastline.
People are still suffering the damages from the last storm and this one will add insult to injury in a lot of places, unfortunately. Here, away from the coast we are expecting over a foot of wet, heavy snow!
This shot was taken a few weeks back, before the storm. This was taken at Salisbury Beach, the northern most part of our coast. They built this walkway to attempt to stem the erosion of the beach. There is not a lot of room left between the high water mark and the town itself. There was an old wooden fence that had seen better days that was preserved just to the east of the gorgeous walkway.
Hoping everyone stays safe during this one!
