Beautiful “casona” in Mérida, Yucatán.

After going around the neighborhood of the colonial city of Mérida, Yucatén, I encountered this beautiful hotel where it will take you back in time between the XVIII and XIX. Back in the day this structure was a residence for one of the many powerful families that made a lot of money during the production of the green gold (oro verde), the “henequen”.

Today, this residence is being used as a Hotel where you can stay and revive the beauty of the of time by the architecture of the building.
