The old bridgehead [architecturalphotography]

This old bridgehead was part of a railway bridge in Duisburg/Germany. It was built in 1874.
The building was replaced in 1927 by a new bridge, which still serves the railway traffic between the Ruhr and Aachen after the destruction of the war.
