I, personally, find minimalistic art representing truth. The paintings, sculptures, photographs aren't pretending to be anything else than what they are. I find the art form also extremely calming, and esthetically pleasing to look at because it reduces art to the most basic form, resulting in feeling at ease and not feeling overwhelmed.
The picture i'm sharing with you guys today marks the second entry in my series about minimalism. The picture, taken in LA, combines the two things i'm very interested in (that being architecture and minimalistic art). I just love the the structure and the multiple directions captured in this image. While the surface is polished, the corners on the other hand are not. Creating contrast and or insinuating conflict between the two.
