In a later post I've talked a little bit about why I like so much Coatepec. One of those things is the architecture of the town.
Most of the downtown has become a commercial place. Lots of shops and stores have opened in the last few years, BUT, many of those stores have preserve the old houses and tried to make the less changes to meet their needs.
And here is a perfect example. A Domino's and a local restaurant have taken a house and occupy the front and let the rest of the building as original as possible with his central courtyard.
That's why Coatepec had keeped their beauty.

En un post anterior les decía un poco sobre las razones que me gustan tanto Coatepec. Una de esas cosas es la arquitectura del pueblo.
La mayoría del centro se ha convertido en un lugar comercial. Muchos negocios y tiendas han abierto en los últimos años, PERO, muchos de esos negocios han preservado las casas antiguas y han tratado de hacer la menor cantidad de cambios para ocupar sus necesidades.
Y aquí esta un perfecto ejemplo. Un Domino's y un restaurante local han tomado una casa antigua y ocupado la parte frontal, dejando el resto del edificio casi original con su patio central.
Es por eso que Coatepec ha mantenido su belleza.
