The Ruins of Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines is the remains of the ancestral home mansion of the family of Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson and Maria Braga Lacson. It was built to commemorate the great love of a husband to his departed wife in 1990s and it was inspired by Italian architecture.

The structure was burnt down by the owner during World War II to prevent its use as military stronghold by the invading Japanese forces.
Because of its excellent construction, it survived up to this day and has become one of the most fascinating ruins in the world.
And now, the great-grandchildren of Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson and Cora Maria Osorio Rosa-Braga, preserved it in its ruined state as a tourist attraction. It is open daily to visitors from 8am to 8pm.

MORNING - will let you see the beauty of the landscape.
SUNSET - will let you see the glory to the glistening structure.
EVENING - will let you be enchanted by the lights.
Oh right, here's another important thing to note: There are no taxi cabs near the place, so it is really difficult to travel back. So, one way to get back is to talk with the people there in the ruins, so they can help you out in getting a taxi.
