Wat Luang Pu Supa, also called Wat Silsuparam is located in the Chalong just next to new Chalong dam. The temple is a relatively new temple at Phuket.
This temple is famous because of its founder Luang Pu Supha who is one of the most respected and longest-lived monks in modern Thai history (it is said that he was over 110 years old).
He spend a big part of his life (almost a 100 years to be exact) to being a Buddhist monk spreading the word of dharma and building almost 40 temples and monasteries around the country.
